Superfood Protein Bars

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup protein powder
  • 3 Tbsp raw cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed meal
  • 3 Tbsp sunflower seed
  • 3 Tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp honey or stevia (only a few drops needed)
  • 3 Tbsp nut butter (almond, sunflower, etc.)
Instructions
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Stir until ingredients are combined and mixed well.
  2. Pour the mixture evenly onto a wax paper lined 8x8 (or smaller) pan and place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from freezer and slice into bars.
Recipe Notes

Option: you can make this recipe into protein balls, instead of bars.
